Domestic Abuse / Violence Ministry Task Force

Domestic Abuse / Violence Task Force

“Imagining No More Domestic Abuse / Violence”

This task force of caring and concerned people came together in the spring of 2011 to determine how the people of Minnetonka UMC can make a difference in addressing the social problem of domestic abuse / violence.  The catalyst for our formation was the publicity surrounding the UMW and UMM Domestic Abuse/Violence initiative at the national level which included collaborating on the production of the documentary film, “I Believe You: Faith’s Response to Intimate Partner Violence.”

Purpose Statement
