Vacation Bible School 2008

Join Us and Ride the Wave of God’s Love! Bring your children (preschoolers-5th graders), friends and neighbors to the Beach Party: Surfin’ Through the Scriptures. They will spend the whole week at the beach without leaving the church grounds.

The beach will be located at Minnetonka United Methodist Church 17611 Lake Street Extension.

Each day children will be presented with Bible stories at the Scripture Scene and encouraged to develop Beach Be-Attitudes: Be Obedient, Be Kind, Be Forgiving, Be Bold and Believe. Their learning will be extended as they travel around the beach and participate in various activities: making their own special memories in Beachcomber Crafts, singing fun tunes at Sound Waves, experiencing science activities at the Surf “n: Sand Science Lab, participating in recreational activities at Rockin’ Rec and enjoying tasty snacks at the Snack Shack.

Mark these dates on your summer calendar: Monday, June 16th — Friday, June 20th The beach will be open from 9:30 am to 12 noon.

Family Picnic at the Beach: Tuesday, June 17th starting at 6 pm. (Bring a picnic dinner and a blanket and come enjoy music from the Sticks and Tones family band. They will play from 7 – 8 PM. Save room for dessert that night as there will be special treats for everyone.
