What's New?

This Sunday: 3rd Sunday in Lent.  Sermon Series: Growing Deep & Wide - #2: Seeing God at Work.  Scripture:  Matthew 4:1-11   Come celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the MUMC Legacy Fund!

Community Meals: An evening meal will be served at MUMC on the first Thursday of each month. The next dinner is March 5, 2015 at 5:30 pm.  This is an outreach ministry designed to provide hot nutritious meals to ICA clients. Contact Barb Lunde, 612-616-6569 if wish to help organize this event.

Wednesday Night Family Dinners:  Lenten Soup Suppers.  Bring a soup, bread, or dessert to share.  We start each week at 5:30 pm and end by 6:30 pm.  There is a short informative presentation about a mission project each week during Lent.  This week's presentation is from the Quilters.

Lenten Study to Revive our Hearts and Souls to Change the World
Instead of asking you to “give up” something for Lent, we are asking you to “take on” something new. Using Adam Hamilton’s book, Revival-Faith as Wesley Lived It, the 6 week series will follow John Wesley exploring his defining characteristics of a Wesleyan Christian. The study will help us define our faith, challenge us to rediscover our spiritual passion while building personal relationships with others ... reviving our hearts and souls to change the world!
